Joint Health?

So, cancer was pretty easy to DIY following the advice of Sandra and Dr B, but I now have a different issue at hand.  I am getting older and having spent the vast majority of my entire adult life on my feet, I am experiencing significant hip joint pain.  Surgery is not an option.  I have read a bunch on supplements that address the issue, but thought I'd tap into the brain trust of thousands of holistic minded people and see if anyone else has tackled this issue without the "help" of doctors and hospitals.

TIA, Rod in MN/USA

Rod,
I tried to forward you an email from Aletha Health talking about their "hip hook". I'm a customer. This device is relatively expensive, but it locates and targets your illacus/soas muscles allowing you to get them to release which allows the antagonist muscles to be relaxed. THIS is the cause of most hip and lower back pain. You CAN do this with your fingers or with less expensive devices you can buy on Amazon. Do Not Opt For Surgery Until You Try This! Since this email and my forwarded email didnt go through the first time, at least you know what to search for.

All the best,
Dan Collins

Knees Over Toes guy on YouTube successfully DIT overcame serious knee issues and I think has some good protocol for hips as well.

How can we find the personal email address of members of this group?

Rod's address looks like this:  s4sindus=yahoo.com@groups.io
I imagine that using such an address will not get mail to Rod.

Dan's address looks like this:  danielco@...
I guess that sending to this address will work.

Why  do some addresses look like ordinary email addresses, and some look like code?

How might I find Rod's address based on the information above?

thanks,

I did not realize that, Rahel. I wonder if there is something I can do on my end to rectify that.

Anyway, my correct email is s4sindus@...

Typo I meant "DIY", but he figured out not only how to overcome doctor assessment that his knee was completely shot but now people come to him for fixing mobility issues.  He's like a gym geek.  A good resource for alternative methods that work!

I had tried Budwig to work on COPD (lung sarcoidosis autoimmune diagnosis).  Budwig protocol didn't seem to help me there, but great for my blood work vitals and nutrition.  Somehow I'm still on the email list so maybe I could help.

Best to you, Rod!

I'm an acupuncturist and deal with hip pain on a daily basis (my patients' not mine).  Acupuncture is extremely effective for this if done right.  Try to find an acupuncturist who does "orthopedic acupuncture."  The type of acupuncture that works for this is also called "dry needling."  Acupuncturists don't like this term but you might find a chiropractor or PT who is trained in it.  But your best option is an acupuncturist who deals with this frequently.

Thank you, Dean. I think the pain is due to cartellage wearing down, but it may be worth a try. I have never looked into accupuncture before so will be new ground.
