Hello, Back in 1998 my dad had a subdural hematoma by his ear after surgery for a brain tumor. It was very large and actually distorted his ear. He had a G-tube and we use digestive enzymes to try and reduce the size of it. At the time, we were using Puritans pride and did not see any improvement. so I switched to twin labs digestive enzymes and within three days it totally disappeared. That is my experience with the Puritan‘s Pride brand. Best, Jenny |
Hi Zacc,
Years ago when this all happened with my dad, I was scrambling to try and find different supplements and diet to help him. Before I was able to talk the doctor into letting me make his G-tube feedings I had read in one of the health books that I had had in my arsenal to look things up that sometimes when you take digest enzymes on an empty stomach, they go after extra fluid or inflammation in the body. I’m talking roughly about 30 years ago almost. But I found that twin labs has I think the best digestive enzymes out there. Another occasion I did it way back when was when I took a line drive to the face playing softball. Lol. The orbit was fine but I tried doing the enzymes on an empty stomach and I feel like it helped the whole swollen area around my eyesocket and cheek reabsorb I think a lot quicker. Granted I was taking some vitamin C along with it. My whole point in this is that finding a good company to work with that you feel comfortable about their products is key. My choice just happens to be twin labs. Anyway, I hope this was a good explanation. Jenny |
Thank You Jenny,

30 years is a long time. Companies get bought. Twinlab original owners are long gone based on Wikipedia article. Similarly many companies that used to be good are taken over by big corporations and ingredients changed for bigger profits.

It may be still good but one should validate it’s still using the old ingredients and sources. On Feb 19, 2024, at 1:33 PM, Jenny McCarthy via groups.io <mccar6@...> wrote: |
