Salad Dressing

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a salad dressing recipe. I’ve been looking for a good one with no sugar for a while but haven’t been able to come up with anything. Does anyone have one that they’ve used in your healing journey?

All leads are greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Gail

I made a salad dressing from equal parts of flax oil, pumpkinseed oil, olive oil and ACV. Shake in a small jar with a lid on and it should turn creamy. If it separates add a little more pumpkinseed oil. It has a tangy taste and works great for dipping raw cruciferous veg's. I also came up a recipe for a "ranch" type dressing that is based on the FO/CC:

12 TBL Cottage Cheese
6 TBL Flaxseed Oil
3 TBL - 6 TBL Milk
2 TBL ACV
1/2 Lemon Sqeezed
3 TBL Dijon Mustard
2 TBL Raw Honey
2 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TSP Onion Powder
1 TSP Dill Weed
1/2 - 1 TSP Celery Seed (to taste)
1/2 TSP Pepper
1/4 TSP Salt
1 TBL Dried Chives or Parsley (crushed)
Mix CC and FO and 3 TBL milk as with muesli and add the remainder of ingredients.
Add more milk as necessary for consistency and refrigerate.
Makes about 16 ounces of dressing.

Rod,
Salad dressing recipe looks good.
I may have to, ilo of the 1/2 Lemon Sqeezed.....add a tablespoon or two of lemon juice that I already have.

Thank you Rod for the salad dressing recipe. It’s so hard for me to make dressing. It never comes out tasting good.

Also, as far as the amounts, I used 1 ounce of each, which made enough for a meal of raw cruciferous veg's, and a little more than needed for a salad.
