YouSpice
I came across this site for sharing LTSpice models: https://youspice.com
It seems pretty dated but has a model I'd like to look at, but I wasn't able to get the registration process to complete. Just wonder if anyone knows the status or has the ability to download a model for me? Thanks and 73, Bob W9RAN |

I have gone to Youspice from time to time, but it is rather less useful than one might like. The pop-up ads and on-screen ads are rather annoying. If I remember correctly, many of the resources were locked, or required additional registration, or payment. I think some of the articles led to models elsewhere (not at youspice.com itself), making them inaccessible.
When I registered for the site, more than a decade ago, it was challenging and took a few tries. For logging in, the username might be case-sensitive. That was unexpected. Andy |

True. The Tayloe Detector model here is the one that I was interested in:

That is an awfully simple circuit to need a pre-made model. There are some good articles by Taylor, himself, that provide all the gory details.

I grabbed and have now uploaded the information from the YouSpice webpage about that Tayloe detector. Nothing on that page depended on registering with them. It was just a matter of figuring out what's there and how to grab it. There is a short description, two images, and three links which are somewhat hidden. One link is to Dan Tayloe's paper = the same link that Jim already listed, one is to a Youtube video by someone else, and the third is the profile of the person who uploaded that stuff to YouSpice.

Hello, is there any chance that someone have files from this project: https://youspice.com/spiceprojects/spice-simulation-projects/power-and-battery-circuits-spice-simulation-projects/switching-power-supplies-spice-simulation-projects/self-oscillating-flyback-converter/
Sadly can't register to download by myself. |

As you probably know, the files for that project are not for LTspice. Do you have the simulator that it requires? That download makes sense only if you have SIMPLIS / SIMetrix already installed on your computer. Do you?
The YouSpice website can be very picky about logins. Usernames seem to be case-sensitive most of the time, which is rather unusual.
Some of the uploaded projects there are not exactly useful - they dangle some screenshots and vague descriptions in front of you, but don't give you anything you can actually use. I'm sure they are not all like that.
Is that because someone does not permit you to register, or because their system won't accept you? I recommend that you keep trying. It might work if you persist.
Several years ago when I registered there, it worked, but not all logins since then were successful. Their website does not seem to be stable.
