CNC mill conversion to plasma cutter

I was thinking of putting a 15 X 20 water tray on the table. This must be a bad idea because I can't find anybody on YouTube that has done this. I'd appreciate anybody's opinion. I don't have experience with plasma cutters but I've got a customer with a lot of smaller parts (3/16 thick 304ss) that just wouldn't be practical to mill. Thanks in advance, Bill
