Freezes at Erase Phase

 

I have a NanoVNA H 3.2 and am trying to upgrade the firmware. The DefuSe seems to be working properly. When I select my firmware ans select "Upgrade", The "Erase Phase" progress bar comes up, but freezes there. I believe that I have the correct firmware and have even tried other releases with the same results. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 

Maybe try a different cable? The erase phase happens before the firmware
is sent down, so this is just the program interacting with the processor
and having problems.

Does it still boot after this, or ??? If it does boot, it's not successfully starting the erase, as opposed to failing while doing it.

Hey Stan, yes it does still boot. It seems that even though the upgrade shows in progress, it never actually starts. I have tried a different cable, a different laptop, even a different NanoVNA H with the exact same results. The upgrade begins with the erase phase and stops there. I thought maybe someone else might have experienced the same issue. I guess I will try a different .dfu file.

Try use USB2 port for update, on some computers USB3 very slow in DFU mode

I found the issue. I had tried different firmware, different cables, different laptops even a different NanoVNA H. What I found was, that even though I had tried different laptops, they were both Asus with Win 11. I moved over to an older Win 7 laptop and Voila! Thank you all for pitching in!
