Curious... I set the date & time on my NanoVNA H4, but nothing appears on the screen. When I did this long ago on my TinySA ultra the date & time display in the lower right corner. Am I missing a step to get date/time displayed on the NanoVNA?

wanted with open source , 4'' screen with efficient touchscreen function if possible.

Nizar.. these are two different devices with entirely different purposes. Suggest you watch some YouTube videos on both and decide on which you need.. or get both! If you are U.S. based Amazon is a source of both. Don't know about other countries

While similar in some respects, the nanoVNA and tinySA are completely different designs and completely different instruments.
The nanoVNA does not display the time on the screen - it is used for automatic naming of capture files, and for placing a timestamp inside saved .s1p, .s2p and calibration files.

Do not buy a TinySA on Amazon. You will likely get an inferior clone. Approved seller scan be found in the TinySA Wiki.

If you check the TinySA group WiKi, you will find TWO approved vendors on Amazon for the TinySA and Ultra or TinySA4.
They are SeeSii and AURSINC.

As far as the NanoVNA H and H4, R&L Electronics, in the US, is highly recommended as well as AURSINC on AMAZON.
I have purchased from all three vendors, and received original versions of TinySAs and NanoVNAs.

Thanks, but that does not really change what I wrote. Best to buy direct from the vendor IMO. The OP did not know about authorized resellers. I already own both Tinys purchased vendor direct. The same goes for the VNAs. Personally I avoid Amazon as a general rule.

Just to add to the Chaos... I was paying around with the time and date as I am in a different time zone than what was already set on my VNAh4. The only place that I can see it's clock is under the CONFIG>VERSION location. As someone else mentioned its use in file management (photos/files) but that's about the only location I actually see the time. Not sure that answers your question any but I hope it helps some.

Thanks much for that info on the time and date. I had a friend add the crystal and the micro SD socket months ago and I never knew if they worked or not. So I know that one mod works now.
