Programmatically select which CHV-RTS to use as the sensor for that TSTAT.

Has anyone attempted successfully to have two different CHV-RTS feed into something hardware (ie analog input or relay or something) and be able to select which CHV-RTS you want to use as the Current Temperature of that area for the TSTAT?  There is no way that I have found to have both RTS going into one TSTAT and be able to programmatically select which one, only manually through the TSTAT setup choose which RTS or both to use.

Which TSTAT?

CHV-THSTAT?

Or DIN-THSTAT?

If you want to do it mechanically, just run them both through a DPDT relay and then feed that to the sensor input on the TSTAT.

I don't know if that will work. I think they are addressed to the slot of the thermostat. If not, I don't know how you could have 4 sensors connected to the stat.

DIN-THSTAT you can send a command during runtime via console to swap which sensor input(s) it uses.

CHV-THSTAT you cannot do that - it is in the hardware setup only.

But with either of the stats above, you could definitely run two sensors through a relay and switch which one connects to a single input - it would work. The sensors have no addresses or anything like that. Just data.
