Can the FT-847 DSP Board be used on FT-857?

 

Question: Can the FT-847 DSP Board be used on FT-857?

The short answer is no. The DSP CPU's are different and the control circuitry is different. It may look close on the schematics but when you start comparing parts, no.

Thanks Mitch. I found the circuit diagram of both which, as you said, are vastly different.
