Headstock indexer

 

Catching up on my electronic subscriptions the Oct 2024 issue of Model Engineers Workshop has a pretty interesting diy indexer for the mini lathe . This is a English Magazine , but it's available at most book stores that have a fair sized magazine dept . I subscribe to this & read online . It seems they have more projects in one month than the other 2 mags do in half a year . They should be having their black Friday subscription drive going on about now .

That is a good magazine.  I will look up the indexer article.   Several Briitish magazines are superior to USA perioicals - especially air gun magazines.

If you want to have a peek at the article before you invest in the magazine, your public library just _might_ have access to this magazine. Our public library here in Winnipeg enables cardholders to access Model Engineers Workshop through the "Overdrive" digital media application. 
 

    They have some pretty darn awesome vintage dirt & street bike mags too

The author has a website and the indexer is described on this page. He has many other interesting things too.
