Installing DfuSe On Windows 11 ?? #bootloader #dfu #firmware

Hi All,

I have a NanoVNA H4 with version: 1.1.0.1 firmware.
I wish to upgrade the firmware using a '.dfu' file.
To do that I would need to install DfuSe_Demo_V3.0.6
But have noticed when I plug in the device (in Dfu Mode), the driver for the STM32 Bootloader is not compatible with Windows 11.

Question is, for the users who run a Windows 11 environment, how is a firmware upgrade on the NanoVNA performed?

Please see this set of instructions I compiled when dealing with this problem, in the files area of this group:

Thanks Stan,

Sorry for the late response to this.

I have been tearing my hair out over the past couple of days trying to get this to work.
As it stands at the moment, I am still no further forward from when I posted.
The paper you wrote shows screen shots of various points of the process, but when I went to follow step, what I saw was different. I think the latest updated versions of Windows 11 may differ.

But what I have just realised is that I have Windows 11 ARM.
I run a virtual (Paralells Desktop) on Mac OS M1, and I think that is why I am having such an issue with these drivers.

I have Wires-X PC which is stand-alone, so I will give it another try using that.

Stay Tuned.
