After 20+ years in the neighborhood, its time to find a new dry cleaner. What is your recommendation? Is there any place you just love? Any place you think is better skipped?

I use Sargeant Cleaners on Wisconsin Ave in Glover Park. The seamstress/tailor work is also very good!

I like Cleveland Park Valet. The owner Bobby is so kind. My husband took my winter coat there and the owner said I can do it, but you can also save your money and wash it at home. He then proceeded to give detailed directions which worked great.
 
They also notarize documents for $5 cash. Highly recommended.

I second Cleveland Park Valet. They routinely tell me how I can save money by washing whatever the item is at home. I rarely take them up on it because I’m lazy about Complex Cleaning Instructions, but I do appreciate it.

I go to Parks Fabricare on Newark both for dry cleaning and for seamstress who is there Wednesday and Thursday

We have been using Cleveland Park Valet for almost 25 years. As earlier posts attest, the owner, Bob K., is first-rate, as well as honorable. Can’t say enough positive things about him.

My family has used Parks for over 25 years and three locations in the neighborhood. They are careful and professional, and have a good seamstress. You can research online their cleaning method, called GreenEarth Cleaning.
