Roku, preferred IP module

 

Didn't want to high jack the other the Roku problems thread.  I have the latest database but not seeing anything.  Have found a couple that rolled their own.
 
 

I use the one from this site. I don’t use direct launch so I removed all that logic. The only trouble I have had with it was the latest update that shut control off. Finding the factory remote to reenable full app control was a challenge.
 

I was able to re-enable control through the Roku iPhone App. 
 

As for a module, I use the Roku 3 Series Release module in the files section here. It works great but occasionally throws errors as something in the Simpl# is not correct. Unfortunately I dont have the chops to figure it out... But I use it for direct app launch from a SRL with app icons and its great. 
 

I use 2 modules.

First I use the CCD VideoServer module for navigation, etc.  Then I use the Roku 3 Series module for direct app selection.  They work fine together and I found the combination to provide very reliable and full featured control.
