Hello to the group and a very happy holiday to all,

I am trying to find an app that will work on my android phone or tablet,
the software in the wiki claims it is for an older version of the android
OS so it won't even let me download it. So the question is if there is a
newer version somewhere, or do we need to update the wiki to show that it
only works on older devices?

I have "NANOVNA Web App" showing up on my phone, got it in the google play store...

Hello,
The program I use on my Android phone, tablet or computer running android, is available on the Play Store.
It is called, StmDfuUsb. It will load bin, dfu and hex versions of FW.
I use it exclusively for my NanoVNA H and H4 as well as my TinySA and TinySA ULTRA.

My phone isn't all that old, maybe a year? Dunno what to tell you offhand...

I've never run across that particular error condition, and I have a whole bunch of apps on there.

Installed recently on android 14 from Play Store. Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G.

I have three Android phones, one with Android 14, one with 12 and a really old phone with 8. A Android Tablet running version 10. The StmDfuUsb app and the NanoVna web runs ok on all.

I suspect it's a setting in the Google Play Store. I'm downloading it form the US store; perhaps the European store has a different setting.

`That's interesting, Peter. I couldn't get it on my Samsung S23 Ultra. My kernel version is 5.15.148 from December 3rd (it just updated itself recently. I wonder if that's the problem.

Jerry, I just checked my kernel 5.10.209. Just updated within a couple days. I installed the app on 12/8/24.

It looks like you have an older version of the kernel, which could explain why you can download it and I can't.
