ISO volunteer opportunity for Christmas week #volunteeropportunity #iso

Hi Neighbors,

I have no plans for Christmas. So rather than sit at home and feel bad that I have no where to go for Xmas dinner - it's okay because I don't "celebrate" the holiday - I would rather like to spend the time helping others.
Anyone know of a soup kitchen or volunteer opportunity between now and New Years that needs volunteers?

Any leads would be helpful.

Happy Holidays!

Thank you to all those members who sent information about volunteer opportunities.  I thought I'd share what I collected in case you'd like to volunteer too.

Merry Christmas and happy volunteering.

Kay

Week of Dec. 23-27 - URGENT need for volunteers!
We work to end chronic homelessness in Washington, DC.  We advocate for permanent supportive housing as a long-term solution, while meeting short-term needs by providing healthy meals and high-quality social services to the chronically homeless. Our volunteers help to make our programs possible and we're so grateful for your support.
