zBitx Battery Holder Length

 

Does the supplied 2-Cell holder have enough length for the 70mm long Protected/Rechargeable 18650's?

I have one of the holders in front of me, and measuring the batteries I'm using are 65mm tall, the ones in the link you posted are 70.05mm tall. If I push the battery as far as I can toward the spring, I measure a gap of 70.0mm, so it would be tight. About the only thing you could do is try it, there might be enough tolerance between each battery holder to work. Nice batteries, by the way.

The supplied case is for 650mm long cells. I didnt know of the 700mm cells!

There are two types of 18650s  Ones with a button top and ones with a flat top. I prefer the fat top variety..
 
 
 

Thanks for the measurement, I will order a pair and have them on hand in hopes that they will work.

The cells with built in protection circuit is longer than 65 mm and a bit of a pain.
