Hi All,
I've heard recently that Crestron is recommending exclusively using Host-Names instead of IP addresses for Crestron devices (at least for CH).
I have always exclusively used static IP addresses for Crestron devices (and any other controlled devices if I can), as I had always been told over the years that Host-Name communications were less reliable.
Perhaps this was true in the past and not now, but I'm curious what others' best practices are...
