Need model for Varistor

I'm looking for a sub-circuit or model for a varistor. The part number I need is MOV-07D43K but if anyone can point me in the right direction to find a generic varistor model or sub-circuit that I can modify that would be awesome!

Thanks!

Hello,

Please post a link to the manufacturer's web page.

Best regards,
Helmut

Helmut,

Manufacturer is Bourns.

Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV)

Thanks,
Steven

Hello Steven,

Unfortunately I can only find 3D files for MOVs on their web pages.

Maybe you should directly contact Bourns and ask about SPICE files for the MOVs.

Best regards,
Helmut

Hello Steven.
Here is my version of the varistor model.

See file varistor.zip in

I add models of varistors MOV-7DxxxK.

Bordodynov.

There are other varistor models in the group's files too.  Download the "Table of Contents" file, open it, and search for "varistor".  They might not be for the MOV-07D43K but they can give you an idea about what a varistor model looks like in LTspice.

Andy

Bordodynov, that is an impressive new collection of models.

Please stop asking the same question repeatedly.  See #156833.

Bordodynov's model from his reply #87380 is here:
    Files > z_yahoo > Files sorted by message number > msg_93473 > MOV007D.asc

Bordodynov's models from his reply #87382 are here:
