How to on trinnov using crestron command #crestron

Dear All,

Wake On LAN, there is a sample program Trinnov can share. Ask the Trinnov sales rep. Don’t use serial the module is shit and there is no on

Hi,

the latest Crestron module from Trinnov is v1.0.17.

You can download it directly from there website (support => downloads=>drivers=>Crestron).

You have to provide MAC address and IP address as parameters and then power on works.

Be aware that the Altitiude32 doesn´t power on via RS232.

Regards, Thorsten

You can also use a 12v relay to power it on and off.

Hi Thorsten,
Could you share your copy of this module (or latest version)??
I could only find a crappy .PKG version, which I refuse to waste my time on...
TIA!!

Hi,
latest version is 1.0.21
I‘m currently on vacation.
But you can get it for free via the Janus Tech homepage.

Cheers and a great new year 2024 to everybody!

Yeah, unfortunately Janus is also on vacation...:(
I can't D/L the module unless I have a login, and apparently a human needs to approve mine when they get back...

Anyone else have it and could share?  TIA

FYI, if its just the PKG file that I downloaded from the Drivers site, don't bother...

In the meantime, I'm having issues with getting WoL to work. I'm currently working with the Trinnov Optimizer v3 module which provides WoL control via the MAC address, and also tried a WoL module that another forum member offered.
Neither are working.
The unit's IP address is 10.32.101.126 and I have tried the UDP interface with 10.32.101.255 and 255.255.255.255.
Any other ideas as to how to get this thing to turn on??

WoL should work.
Sometimes, the unit doesn‘t start after a hard powerdown and needs to be switched on manually. After that, it works solid.
However, because of that behavior, i always prefer to use the 12v rrigger to start.

Yes, My WoL is working now!  probably like you suggested. I'll pivot to the 12v trigger (that's what we did years ago)
My old Optimizer module is working for now so don't mess up your vaca for me - Thanks for offering though!!
When you get back I'd love to get it when you can...

Hi,

JFYI – i sent you a direct mail a week ago. Hope that find you well.

Just checking via the group.

Cheers,

Thorsten

Hi Thorsten,
I just found it in my spam folder, Thank you!!  I actually received a later version (2.1.10) from another poster so I'm going to work with that (though there's a few things I need to adjust!)
Thank you again and Happy New year!!

Ah, yes - thanks for the heads-up on the latest version.

Just downloaded. 😊

Cheers,

Thorsten

Out of curiosity is this a SIMPL module or a Certified Driver?

Both SIMPL and Crestron Home available.

Cheers,

Thorsten

Hi All!

Any help appreciated-seems I am missing something "Simpl."  I have a Trinnov Alt 32, 4/23 build and a Pro4 with a 1070 panel.  I can run all commands from debugger with good results, with a"'save as " 1070 conversion from a Panel project.  The Trinnov module I am using has the ip and MADC addresses correctly entered for the Alt32 and the main page buttons on the ;loaded TP do depress, but no connection is staying high.  I put a "1" on the connect line of the module, tried using a different press on the TP->OS on the connect signal all without success, although debugger shows correct signals being sent.  When I reload everything-program reboot TP and press the connect button on the tp, I get a maybe 1-2 second green "connected" check mark on the TP, but the red and no buttons seem to work at all.  Clearly not connected.

The TP is not intrinsically bad, as other loaded programs work fine, haven't done other Ip yet though.

Thank you very much

Hi,

i´m usually not using the connect signal at all on the Trinnov module.

It should work right away.

Can you share your code?

Which module version are you using?

Cheers,

Thorsten

Hi Thorsten!

Thanks for the reply.  I originally and reverted to just using the Trinnov supplied 2.1.9, with absolutely nothing changed or added.  After that would not show connected, nor work, from the TP, I went to debugger, which was connected and sent signals that worked appropriately, through debugger.  With the program loaded and running in the Pro4, the auto Power_On did just that, when I set the module Signal to "Daily" to Power On so that, per the notes, for the module, the logs would be cleared, in the Trinnov.  That shows that the program remains running and connected to the Trinnov, when in Power Offf state( BTW, I did not enable "Stealth Mode," which seems like standby power.
