HTML5/CH5 WYSIWYG Editor for the Crestron control system #html5 #ch5

Hello everyone, I would like to bring some updates about a new product - AVstudio https://avstudio.app/

AVstudio is the first HTML5/CH5 WYSIWYG Editor for the Crestron control system (and is not limited to).

AV professionals could create attractive GUI with zero web development experience. If you would like to see what you could create, you can download a demo version from the Crestron Application Market (https://applicationmarket.crestron.com/avgator/)

Although it is only the alpha version yet, it already has plenty of cool features. Every week we publish an update with new futures.

Any info on what it is / how it works?  The website is just a login / signup page.

Don't particularly want to sign up for something I don't know anything about.

Thanks!

I signed up but when I try to use their editor webpage it just grinds Chrome to a halt. Also tried again today as I saw an update email and I can't even create a new project.

Could you provide more information about your issues, and if it is possible, share a screenshot with debug console, please?

Happy New 2023 Updates!
Let me know how do you like to be connected to the Crestron control processor during your GUI design process.

Right now, AVstudio supports Crestron.
What other control systems would you like to have on the support list?
Some hints: Extron, QSYS

Version 0.8 & 0.9 Updates:
- New Element: Text Input
Input and output serial signals, statement control with focus management, and size options.
- Elements state and behavior control
Now all elements have at least visibility and enabled state control. Depending on the element type, other controls are available.
- Projects Media Library added
Upload your media file and use it as an Image element or background image. Now we allow file formats: .jpg, .png. New updates allow attaching more media formats: .svg, .webm, .mp3, .mp4, and more to create a video background, animated & interactive SVG objects, and other effects.
- New Element Image added
Image elements allow rendering images from the project media library or external URL.
- Background Color for containers
Now containers support background-color property.
Accept any kind of color format.
- Editor/Preview mode UI changed
More clear implementation of changing development mode in the header from icon to Editor/Preview buttons.

Yes, I know you would like to see the how-to video not everything at the same time. But do not hesitate to ask, it might be helpful. We really apreciate to hear you voice.

I would suggest finishing what is started.  I find this sort of thing very intriguing, but after spending about 20 minutes on it, none of it made any sense.  A short youtube video would go a long way to help us get started.  Just something showing the basics, a couple of buttons with joins, some serial joins to text, and some analog joins.  Then how to export it to deploy to the processor.

Thank you for your comment. We are listening to you and looking forward for any feedback.

This is a video how to create a GUI in AVstudio.

I like it. Very nice. Only been playing for a couple minutes but very impressive.

I can't register. Every time receive error message.

Hm, works for me (just registered today).

Cheers,
Thorsten

Please provide more info on specifically how to export this to processor or how to communicate in general with the processor.

The interface is a bit confusing...
Got a tutorial somewhere?
But overall at least it is much more responsive than Construct at the moment.
