First, let me say, I did something stupid.

I accidentally used STM32 Cube Programmer and uploaded a bin file to my NanoVNA-H4 HW ver. 4.2. Unfortunately the bin file I uploaded was one intended for a tinySA Ultra!

Now my NanoVNa-H4 has a black screen. I have tried using STM32 Cube Programmer to upload NanoVNA fw pack H_H4_LiteVNA_V2_V2Plus_V2Plus4 (1)\V2 480x320 v1.3.02.bin but the VNA remains a black screen.

I have read that it can't be bricked. Any suggestions for at least returning it to pre-mistake condition?

Turn off the NanoVNA. Then open the case and short VDD and Boot0 together and turn on the NanoVNA. Remove the short and you are now in DFU mode. Then flash the firmware with the correct version for your device. Turn off the NanoVNA and then turn on again and you will be up and running. Turn off again and put the case back on. Then on again and do a Clear Config and then a touch calibration. Then calibrate for the band of interest and store in slot 0.

After some struggle, I did get the drivers to show up. Then I used nanoVNA APP to install the firmware and the nanoVNA is now working again.
