Interested to know if folk are planning to purchase an FTX-1F ( http://www.yaesu.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1312 ) ?

Hi all, Recently I posted about right angle Mini-DIN cables and there seemed to be some interest in those. I created a poll below to gauge how much interest there is, exactly, to see if a group buy for one or both types is feasible (your cost would likely be at or close to the per-unit cost + USPS shipping from California). I'm interested in the Yaesu rigs that FT-817/8 owners also use. I'm also interested if there are members who don't have an FT-817/8 but are either considering a purchase or have a general interest in Yaesu transceivers. Obviously this possible list of transceivers is extensive but I've concentrated on transceivers that support HF, and are either current or recent models. I felt a little bit of a hypocrite having taken over ownership of this list but not actually owning an FT-817 (I sold mine about 18 months ago). I am pleased to announce I picked up a second hand FT-817ND yesterday. It is now programmed with local repeater frequencies and I've also configured it to allow 2m/70cms FT-8 operation which I plan to play with over the Christmas break.
