Crestron Go on iOS, any way to keep connection active
Just for big picture perspective, since Crestron fully supports talking TCP/UDP over the network, nothing stops anyone from leveraging that capability to just talk to Crestron by developing native iOS

Ok, so RS232 to Bluetooth HID keyboard? Here we go! Just for fun, I went and grabbed an ESP32 Arduino microcontroller (actually I grabbed an M5Core Basic, which is an ESP32 in an enclosure... because

For this sort of thing where it’s an AC powered load, I would search Amazon for “current sensor switch”, which is a non-contact loop that you run the wire thru, that requires no direct connection to t

UDP 'server' is this possible
That’s what I thought I remember too, 0.0.0.0 did not work for me either. This was noteworthy to me because in most other programming environments, creating a socket on 0.0.0.0 means “bind the socket

The operative issue here is how you connect to the network. Also, WiFi and Ethernet have two different stories and two different solutions. For the purposes of this message, caution for similar termin

Are you sure the "crash" isn't simply the device going into sleep mode by design after a period of idle time? The built in slide show is a just a screen saver, during which, the device is counting an

This is what I would do (and did, regarding the Crestron interface to a different security panel, Interlogix NX-8E): 1. Set up something to log all of the traffic between the Crestron processor and th

Unify issue
Hi Rick, I agree they work with non-UniFi switches. When multiple AP's broadcast the same SSID at the same site, do devices roam across them well, or does roaming break things -- is the question I'm r

On this UniFi issue, are UniFi AP's being used with a non-UniFi switch? I once had pervasive reproducible issues like this on Apple products simply disappear overnight by switching the UniFi AP's from
