AVAILABLE - TAZZ - 10 YO F2 MALE - WORCESTER, MA Tazz is a wonderful affectionate, talkative, very playful 10 year old F2 male, currently in Worcester, MA. He's been a pretty great pet for that time, with a recent hiccup caused by moving into a house with a lot of dog urine smells that caused stress and requires Tazz to take daily prozac to continue using his litterbox (he prefers two boxes btw). Tazz has never lived with other cats or dogs, yet he does react well to visits by a sibling's dog to the house. He is reported to NOT like other cats. The reason for Tazz's surrender is a sadly common one. He was a great pet and then children came along. The home now has a 2 year old toddler and a baby. The toddler will not leave Tazz alone. Tazz has been patient, given verbal cues but when pestered has scratched the toddler. This is a deal breaker for the mother and Tazz has been given his marching orders. (Please no advice or comments about this situation, it is what it is). Tazz would likely prefer to be a valued only pet, or live with a dog after thoughtful introduction. He would prefer older children that would respect his cues and possibly be able to play with wand toys or throw crinkly balls or roll balls or bottle caps (favorite toys). Glad, as we call him, is an adorable soul. He's been a cattery cat his entire life and our wish for him is to have a forever home, where he is loved and adored. FOSTERS NEEDED FOR TWO INTACT CATS IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA There are two currently intact male SBT Savannahs located in Las Vegas looking for their own new furrever families due to their original owner passing away unexpectedly. The family is struggling to give these very sweet boys the attention and love they truly deserve. SV Rescue has been tasked with finding appropriate homes for these boys. They are both currently unaltered, hence we cannot adopt them out but need a foster home willing to get them to the vet for altering and vetting, then helping us with evaluations to be able to adopt them out. SV Rescue will pay/reimburse for the cost of vet bills, but the foster will need to make arrangements with their own vet and follow through with these appointments/follow up care. Of course, the foster home is always first in line to adopt a cat they are fostering, if the cat works out there.
