I have a problem with the ip control of the Marantz with any crestron processor I use. I am using the module for control via serial command via IP and every now and then (I have not been able to understand how often), the Marantz decide to disconnect from Crestron. The Marantz seem to be configured correctly. Do you know by chance how to solve the problem or if something similar has happened to you? Thanks

My wife has been wonking about these for a couple of months so I grabbed one to play with. I haven't installed it yet, but wondering IF. If your system is running on ipads running the creston app and someone rings the doorbell, will the ring app show through while the crestron app is running? And if so, is it worth the effort to try and integrate it?? We just got home from picking up Chinese food and plastered on the tv was someone being arrested for stealing a package off a doorstep, identified by footage from a Ring doorbell.

New install on Windows 10, everything is working except compiling Crestron App projects. VTPro says: "[ error ]: Crestron app themes not installed." What is that referring to? I can compile other SmartGraphics panels, so that's not the problem. The theme (Neo) is installed. VTPro is running as administrator, UAC is off. What am I missing?

All, Has anyone found a way to control a IV P20 cam via SIMPL? The device help shows TCP not UDP control for Visca support. Can standard Sony style Visca IP logic be used to control these devices? Looking into a Crestron Device Driver for this but the camera control wrapper has no inputs for file path/name nor does it have an input to load the driver file. Thanks in advance, Tray

What would explain why the same VTP project on two different TSW1060 panels of the same firmware (3.002.1061) works in one location and not the other? At both locations they pass TESTDNS TSW-1060>testdns www.cnn.com IPAddress = 151.101.131.5 TSW-1060> Yesterday on site I set the panels to DHCP just in case that was an issue, no change. I assumed that ensuring DNS worked was all they would need but maybe I'm wrong? Anyone? Thx in advance OP

Having issues trying to control this amp consistently over RS232. Using an iPad, Mute works almost every time, Raise works 80 %, and Lower never works. But if using Debugger, it does, but still not 100%. It's a takeover job.

Just want to let you guys know about several issues with Rokus over the last week. 1) IP control stops working after the most recent firmware update on newer Roku. The Roku is still accept connections from the Crestron processor however it just ignores the Crestron commands. After the firmware update, there is a new setting for Settings>System> AdvanceSettingSettings>Control by mobile apps>Network access. After the firmware update, it gets changed to "Limited" which as for as I can tell, only allows Roku apps to control the Roku. You have to change that to "Enable" to restore Crestron control. 2) Getting several calls where Roku says it is out of memory or very slow (15 minutes) when changing between channels such as Prime to YouTube. If the Roku has an SD card slot, you can try to expand the memory by putting in a microSD card and formatting it from the Roku menu. I haven't done it yet but will be trying this on Thursday. If the Roku doesn't have an SD slot, you might have to replace the Roku. For another client, I was able to get it working by deleting all the unused apps from the home page. 3) I am still observing the Roku pulling streams from a Crestron dual NAX system. Causing Roku to receive about 54mbps from the NAXs continuously. Considering the Roku only as a 100BaseT Ethernet connection, it is using a significant amount of the Roku's bandwidth. Doesn't happen with all Rokus. One client , who has about 10 Rokus, has two of them pulling streams from the NAX. Not sure what is causing it. May be some App on certain Rokus or it my be model dependent. If client has issues, I just plan to put the Roku on a separate VLAN from the NAX. If anyone has any other insights into the issues, I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Steve

Hi All, One of my pet-peeves of the digital age (yes, there are many!) is how I see buttons on digital devices, like my iPhone, register presses indicated visually by inactive-active-inactive FB but the function does not work without 2 or more presses... I call this behavior 'Broken'... I was at Crestron for shade training this week and of course they took us thru the Crestron experience center, showcasing HOME... You all know my general feelings about it so I won't rant now. What my Biz Partner and I saw on the TSW-1070 that we were reviewing the interface with is that we would routinely have to press buttons 2-4x to get things to respond with the button's function. Of course, I said "A-Ha!" another thing I don't like!... But my biz partner, who has 1070's with a custom system that I programmed said that he and his wife routinely see this behavior on their panels as well...:( My question, as we discussed it is, is this a problem with the x70 series?? do others see this happening on their various systems? My real concern is that things in the world are so fundamentally unreliable, that we are mostly oblivious to seeing it as these things seem *normal*...

Hello, I have a site with two 4 series processors, one CP4n and one Zum-Hub4. Both devices have SSL enabled. One TSW-770 connects to both devices and this device also has SSL enabled. On-site, I can connect to all three devices without issue. Our office has a site-to-site VPN. From my desktop, I am able to connect to the TSW and every non-Crestron device on the AV VLAN, however, I am unable to connect to either processor. Neither processor responds to a ping, if I run a wireshark, I get no reply back from the two processors. I've also tried an SFTP connection through Filezilla (TSW no problem, processors timeout) and SSH through putty (TSW no problem, processors timeout). As a troubleshooting step, we created a single user VPN. Through that I am able to connect to all the processors without an issue. The only difference we can see between the two is that the single user VPN, my computer receives an IP address on the customers network while on the site-to-site VPN, my computer keeps its IP on our network. I'm curious if anybody has any insights as to why I would be unable to connect to the processors over the site-to-site VPN but have no issue with the TSW? I've checked the def router and the settings are the same on processors and TSW. I've also contacted TrueBlue and they are telling me that SSH must not be configured correctly, which I don't agree with seeing as I have no issue connecting to the TSW with SSH. Any insight would be appreciated.

I've had Alexa voice commands to control my Crestron system set up ever since Crestron released the drivers for it. Suddenly control of Crestron lights, etc. from the Alexa app, Echo Show devices, and through voice commands has stopped working. When I look at the Crestron skill in the Alexa app, it says that the skill is "linked". Any hints / ideas on getting this working again would be greatly appreciated. I'm really trying to avoid deleting everything and re-establishing all devices. I have a lot of Crestron device control commands wrapped in Alexa routines and I know those would all be broken if Alexa thought all the Crestron devices were deleted. Anyone have a working NTP server? I've used "us.pool.ntp.org", "time.nist.gov" and "http://worldtimeapi.org/api/timezone/EST" and each are timing out, no response, or too many request.
