- First check whether the TWS API Documentation on IBKR Campus (or the TWS API Guide on github), the Client Portal API Documentation, or the FIX Implementation Manual can answer your question
- Search our group archive for a post that already provides the information you are looking for
- State your question or problem in terms of the API so that it and the resulting discussion is helpful to members using any of the many supported programming languages
- Tell us what you have already tried, what worked, and what did not
- Limit the amount of code you include to the absolute minimum. Our group is not a "fix my code" service
- When you add a reply to an existing post, stay on the topic of the post and make sure your reply does advance the discussion
- Remember your submission is sent to more than 6,000 members: please don't waste their time!
