Tea

Hello,

In her book, The Oil Protein Diet, Dr. Budwig lists her recommendations for herb teas. She writes that mallow tea is especially helpful for the immune system.

I don't think this is MARSHmallow tea; is anyone familiar with mallow tea? If so, where can I purchase it?

I wrote to the Budwig Center in Germany but did not receive a reply.

Thank you!

Barb,

Below is a link to a graphic / FAQ on mallow (malva sylvestris) and also a link to the product offered by Mountain Rose Herbs, a very reputable US herb vendor.

Best wishes,
Christine

You can probably make your own - malva sylvestris is the common mallow plant - bushy with pinky purple striped flowers. There is also  malva verticillata:  Chinese mallow. I can find mallow tea on ebay and from herb supplier in my country. Try a search for its Latin name. It's related to hibiscus, so you might find it easier to buy hibiscus tea.
