DTMF generation during intercom on panels XX70

 

Someone knows how to send inband DTMF during intercom with door stations?

I've never had to do it, but I remember it being discussed before. Have you
tried searching this Group, or Online Help, for "DTMF"?

You just hit the dial digits of the voip extender. If that doesn't work, you could try changing the inband protocol off the panel and try again.

My colleague Carlos needs to do it in Crestron Home not SimplWindows. Do you now how to access into the TSW voip extender in Crestron Home?
 

I'm curious about the application.  If you are using 2n, for example, there are better ways to do it.  Can you give more about what you are trying to achieve and with what hardware?
 

We do loads of Home w 2n and far and away the most efficient way to go about it is the LCUK module, works great using quick actions to control any 2n switch, full feedback, no need for DTMF stuff. 
 
Of course, if not 2n, or your required DTMF tones change, that's a whole other challenge... I don't believe DTMF control is exposed in CH and likely won't be anytime soon. 
 

If you have a second processor running simpl you may* be able to do it with a second IPT registration and trigger/listens with a quick action.... But it won't be elegant. 4 or 5 steps...
