We do loads of Home w 2n and far and away the most efficient way to go about it is the LCUK module, works great using quick actions to control any 2n switch, full feedback, no need for DTMF

You just hit the dial digits of the voip extender. If that doesn't work, you could try changing the inband protocol off the panel and try again.
