Immersion blender

Is it necessary to use an immersion blender for the flaxseed oil/cottage cheese mixture or can it just be stirred really well until the oil cannot be seen? Thanks!

Vitamin D supplementation in winter
7
Hello, Winter is coming and the days of sunbathing will be fewer and fewer. The Budwig diet does not favor supplements. Should we take vitamin D supplements? Ms. Sandra, can you guide me on this? Thank you, Mücahit.

Lactose-free cottage cheese

I see that one can buy lactose-free cottage cheese. Is there any reason this would not work in the Budwig diet? Sandra?

Questions about some herbal teas
4
Hello everyone, I read in Budwig's book that you can drink herbal teas. We also use some herbal teas for my father, but I wonder if they will directly harm the Budwig plan. I know that Sandra frowns on the use of things that Budwig does not mention by name. But I still can't help myself from being naughty and using some herbs that are highly recommended in the fight against cancer and about which there are serious articles. For this reason, I would like to ask you if you have any information such as the following plants are definitely not suitable because they will harm this. 1- Horsetail Herb (Equisetum) 2- Dandelion 3- Plantago (Plantago Lanceolata) 4- Mistletoe (Viscum Album) 5- Lavandula stoechas 6- Achillea millefolium 7- Nettle We use their tea at different times. We make sure that it is not close to FO/CC, we want to take advantage of its benefits. But is there any herb in these that would definitely complicate the Budwig protocol? Thank you. Mücahit.

not cancer, but complicated diagnosis
3
Shalom! I have been approached by a 72 year old man, not overweight, with auto-immune liver disease. To keep his liver from harm, he was given long term Prednisone, which initially caused Tinnitus and Dizziness. He was just now informed that the Prednisone has caused him to become DIABETIC. Moreover, he has been diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes, and advised to undergo surgery. Please share your ideas with me about this situation. I want to believe that following the Budwig Protocol and receiving massive amounts of Reiki will help him heal from all these conditions. However, I am not sure how I can reassure him. Can you help? thanks, Rahel Jerusalem, in the war torn middle east

SCTP Protocol
6
Hello, Have you ever heard it? It is improved Budwig protocol. Please check it out: https://osf.io/w2ugq He says that the Budwig protocol is excellent but could be modified with the latest cancer research to achieve even better results. There are additions like hyperbaric ozone therapy, fish oil and algae. Best Wishes, Mücahit.

Rotten areas in the tumor
7
Hello, In his lung, my father has a tumor. According to doctors, he is in stage 3. They are forcing us for surgery and they say that if we are late, there may be metastasis. We have been trying to heal naturally for a while, and we've been on the Budwing Diet for a month. Our commitment to the Budwig diet has increased. Some supplements, etc., were canceled. The Budwig procedure, a vegan menu, fresh herbs, and homemade juices, among other things. However, during this time the tumor developed and a recent CT scan has revealed rotting sections of the tumor. Comparing this assertion to our other tomographies, it is new. Now, the structure of it is heterogeneous. Do you have any knowledge on decaying places, please? Might it be a good sign? Best regards, Mücahit

Joint Health?
15
So, cancer was pretty easy to DIY following the advice of Sandra and Dr B, but I now have a different issue at hand. I am getting older and having spent the vast majority of my entire adult life on my feet, I am experiencing significant hip joint pain. Surgery is not an option. I have read a bunch on supplements that address the issue, but thought I'd tap into the brain trust of thousands of holistic minded people and see if anyone else has tackled this issue without the "help" of doctors and hospitals. Connecting with survivors-Graviola
4
Hi Ninni, Joost and Others who are mixing Protocols, When you begin adding foods, liquids, or supplements that Dr. Budwig did not name in her books, you are risking damaging the success of Dr. Budwig's plan. For instance, one website states, "Do not take graviola with the Budwig Protocol. The graviola plant, as well as pawpaw, can lower ATP energy and may offset the Budwig diet." Kind regards, Sandra Olson Owner of this group

15 Key Points of Dr. Budwig's Plan - Plz Read & Save
Below are Guidelines in brief of the Budwig Diet – you don’t have to consume all the foods on this list. Membership to our site, Budwig-Videos.com, gives you videos or articles in detail about each item below. This information is from Dr. Budwig’s books. 1. 1st thing in AM–Sauerkraut Juice, preferably raw & homemade [We have a video on our site showing how to make it] . Raw unheated kraut has enzymes, probiotics and vitamins which help the digestive system metabolize foods & improve immunity. Most sauerkraut sold in stores is pasteurized [heated] and nutrients are damaged. It won’t help as much. 2. Just before breakfast– green or herbal tea 3. Breakfast–3 Tbs. Flax Oil & 6 Tbs. Quark or Cottage Cheese+ 3 Tbs. milk if needed for thinning, well blended, after blending, add 2 Tbsp flax seeds, freshly ground, add fresh fruit, fruit juice, raw nuts, 1 tsp raw honey. Afterward, if hungry, choose whole grain bread, raw vegetables, & an oz of quality cheese: Edam, Gouda, Emmentaler, Sbrinz or Camembert. 4. Mid-morning – Homemade Vegetable Juice (carrots, beets w/lemon or apple, or greens) . Homemade carrot or beet juices are very important cancer-fighters. 5. Before Lunch – Champagne or sparkling wine with 1 Tbs of flaxseeds[freshly ground] OR ground flax seeds in small glass of fruit juice. The champagne helps with absorption of the seeds. 6. SUNBATHING outside 10 to 20 minutes around noon [weather permitting] without sun lotion or glasses, expose as much skin as possible. Avoid washing with soap after sunbathing. Give the vitamin D time to be made and absorbed[24-48 hours] 7. Lunch – raw vegetable salad or vegetable plate + Budwig dressing. If still hungry, boiled or steamed veggies, grains and beans, lentils, or potatoes. [If a member of this site, see “DINNER” in the Menu for over 25 recipes] 8. Lunch Dessert – It’s important to have a 2nd serving of 3 Tbs. Flax Oil & 6 Tbs. Quark or Cottage Cheese with a little milk, well blended. Add raw fruit, fruit juice, raw nuts, raw honey and/or other flavors you like. 9. Mid-afternoon – 1 Tbs. whole flaxseeds, freshly ground & added to 3 to 8 oz of pure fruit juice, homemade or store bought. 10. STRESS REDUCTION/RELAXATION PRACTICE — Meditation to relax the mind, EFT to change thinking, & other techniques that reduce stress as shown on the Budwig-Videos website for those who join. [EFT is Emotional Freedom Technique]. Chronic stress can be very damaging. [We have a video for relaxation methods for members of this site.] 11. Late afternoon – Papaya or pineapple juice, 3 to 8 oz, with 1 Tbs. whole flaxseeds, freshly ground. 12. Dinner – Cooked grains and nutritional yeast flakes such as Red Mill Nutritional Yeast with B12 or grains with vegetables w/oleolux, nutritional yeast flakes & spices. Vegetables such as spinach, asparagus, broccoli, & cabbage add cancer-fighting nutrition. Grains suggested by Dr. Budwig: brown rice, buckwheat, millet and oats. Dine early. 13. Evening – 1 glass Red Wine [optional]. Go to sleep early – before 10pm if possible. 14. AVOID chemicals, preservatives, damaging fats, meats/poultry/eggs/fish, sugar, sugar substitutes, highly processed foods, most supplements, ozone treatments, dental infections and wean off drugs if possible [under doctor’s care] 15. Most people do not need ELDI oils, which Dr. Budwig created mainly for patients who are too weak to eat. These oils are sold in Germany. They are rubbed on the skin or used as an enema if needed. [Some people make a version of ELDI oil at home by mixing 75% flax oil with 25% wheat germ oil to help preserve it. ] Posted by Sandra Olson Owner of this group since 2007

Budwig Musts
6
Hi all, was wondering if anyone could shed light on the absolute musts when doing the Budwig Protocol. My husband was diagnosed with stage 1 esophageal cancer back in February 2022. Been doing various alternative methods from the beginning and attempting Budwig now. We're having a hard time differentiating between what we must do and what is suggested. My husband is religiously consuming FOCC twice a day and getting 30 minutes of sunlight. No oils (other than flax) almost nothing processed. And we are whole food plant based (vegan). Also wanted to ask if anyone knows if quark 3% is better than 2% cottage cheese? Any information you can share is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sara

Stent in esophagus?
6
Hi Does anyone in this forum have experiences with having a stent installed in esophagus? My case is that I´ve had a tumor removed from e. in 2019, and afterwards a stenosis developed right under the position of the removed tumor. Now, the cancer seems to have come back and the stenosis has narrowed in. Since I cannot endure any of the 3 standard treatments, my only option is to heal myself from cancer. But right now doctors recommend me having a stent placed to help me getting food, which is now very difficult. Having read a lot about stents, the dominating facts are about the lot of complications a stent can give. It may hurt, squeak, move away form original position, food can get stuck in the net etc. etc. So, anyone who has uplifting, cheerful stories to tell about stents in esophagus?

any recommendations for autism

Hi all, I have a 3 year-old son who has moderate degree of autism. Any natural treatment or special detox may help him? He is saying only single words right now. Greatly appreciate. Tina

Any thoughts on this? I have been researching the similarities/differences of these two regimens. Which, if either, is more effective for cancer?

Connecting with survivors
66
Hello, I have been battling cancer with chemo and surgery for the last year and a half. The standard medicines have failed me and now I am here. Tumors are encompassing my liver and there is really nothing more other than some life extending chemo and clinical trials offered at this point. I would love to connect with other survivors for support as I ramp up my Budwig Protocol and continue my battle. I am not sure how to share my contact info or private message people in this forum. I would love another mentor as I battle this cancer.

Cottage cheese substitute
8
I read that organic plain yogurt is an acceptable substitute for the cottage cheese. Is that correct? The suggested protein limit was 10-12% but I could only find less, (8%) or more (14%). Is either ok? I am not able to find organic cottage cheese or quark. Thank you, Barb
